Overview
Working at Clevyr, a Software as a Service (SAAS) development company, gave me the opportunity to work on diverse projects including dashboard prototypes, virtual reality, and augmented reality experiences for clients. As a smaller company, we handled our own marketing and social media, where I led the marketing design direction through website redesigns, social media graphics creation, and managing email campaigns.
Starting at Clevyr as a UX/UI Designer, I contributed to the company's growth and client base. Within two years, I was promoted to Creative Director, where I worked on increasing company awareness in Oklahoma City and enhancing our capabilities. Managing multiple direct reports, I focused on team goals and collaboration, leading to a 400% company growth during my tenure.
Rebrand Project
One significant project I undertook at Clevyr was their internal rebranding effort to celebrate the 10 year anniversary. Previously, the company's logo had featured a gear for over 10 years. However, we faced challenges regarding its uniqueness and character, especially in distinguishing ourselves as a development company in Oklahoma City.
Given our company name, Clevyr, we aimed to convey cleverness through our new mark. Drawing inspiration from ancient cultural associations where foxes symbolized cleverness and craftiness, we chose this as the foundation for our brand's evolution.
Design Process
Challenges
We thoroughly explored numerous options with the aim of encapsulating the fox's essence of innovation and intelligence. Our goal was to craft a logo that not only visually stood out but also conveyed professionalism, innovation, and creativity. Through collaborative exploration, we stretched creative boundaries and ultimately achieved a logo that strongly resonated with our team's vision and aspirations at that time. The primary challenge we faced throughout this process was making the final decision.
Solution
After finalizing the design concept, we infused personality into the website by featuring a functional desk outdoors, symbolizing our deep-rooted connection to nature and distinguishing us from other development firms.
The incorporation of vector geometric graphics further enhanced this theme, seamlessly blending modern aesthetics with natural elements to deliver a visually compelling and unified user experience. This approach not only showcased our creativity and meticulous craftsmanship but also underscored our brand's dedication to innovation and sustainability.

Results & Impact
With the brand update and the launch of Clevyr's revamped company website, the team celebrated a significant achievement: winning the 2020 Addy Award in the Online/Interactive Websites category. This accolade not only recognized our efforts but also underscored our commitment to making a substantial impact on both the community and clients.
The updated brand identity and website enhanced the visibility and effectively communicated the dedication to innovation and client satisfaction. This achievement marked a milestone in Clevyr's journey towards excellence and continued growth.
